Vircon Legal advised Poliark on its seed round led by Lonca, APY Ventures and Rebellious Capital.
Poliark is a Turkish climate-tech and energy-transition venture working at the intersection of clean energy infrastructure and digital platforms, helping accelerate sustainability outcomes for industrial and commercial operators. The company addresses the operational gap between commitments to decarbonize and the day-to-day data, measurement and execution workflows that make decarbonization actually happen on real industrial sites — one of the more practical wedges in a category often dominated by abstract policy and macro narratives.
Climate-tech has consolidated into one of the most strategically important venture categories of the decade, with capital flowing toward teams that combine engineering depth with credible go-to-market motions into industrial buyers. Türkiye sits in a particularly interesting position in this space: a large industrial base under increasing pressure from EU-aligned carbon-border mechanisms, combined with a domestic engineering talent pool capable of building real measurement, optimization and reporting infrastructure. Seed-stage rounds led by multi-thesis Turkish funds are well suited to back companies operating at this intersection, where the buyer is local but the regulatory and capital-markets pressure driving the demand is global.
Lonca Capital is an early-stage venture firm focused on category-defining Turkish founders; APY Ventures contributes capital-markets-rooted backing; Rebellious Capital invests in deep-tech and frontier infrastructure — together delivering a multi-thesis seed round. For a climate-tech infrastructure builder, that composition of investors brings complementary networks across founders, capital markets and deep-tech engineering, rather than overlapping coverage of the same domain.
