E. Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu

Mümtaz is the Managing Partner of Vircon Legal, which he founded in 2016. Vircon Legal was established on the idea that Turkey's next generation of technology founders needed a practice that would treat law as a design layer rather than an obstacle.

Over the past decade, Mümtaz has advised founders, investors and operators on financing rounds, M&A transactions, international incorporations, and regulated verticals — including crypto-asset infrastructure, fintech, games and digital health. Mümtaz is also a former technology entrepreneur who exited his own startup, and brings a founder's perspective to the value he delivers to other founders.

Mümtaz regularly speaks at conferences and teaches courses on entrepreneurship and law.
