In March 2025, Fintelogy announced its Crypto-Asset Law and Compliance Management Certificate Program, to run from April 19 to June 1, 2025. Our Managing Partner Erdem Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu was part of the program’s 30+ expert faculty.

The central thesis of the program was clear: after Turkey’s crypto-asset regulation entered into force, the compliance-manager profile the industry needs requires a curriculum that brings academics, lawyers, and technical experts together.

Mümtaz’s contribution

Mümtaz contributed to the program on the crypto-specific corporate structuring strategies and investment agreements tracks — covering jurisdiction selection, holding structures, the separation between token-issuing and operating entities, fund structures, and the legal setup specific to VASP applications.

The faculty

The program’s faculty included Berke Tok, Av. Dr. Davut Gürses, Pınar Çağlayan Aksoy, Devrim Danyal, Burcu Çağla Kömürcüoğlu, Elçin Şahin, Furkan Güven Taştan, Sıla Adak, Serkan Seyhan, E.
