Webrazzi Fintech 2025 — Building the Future by Binance TR Stage

On December 10, 2025, at Wyndham Grand İstanbul Levent, Webrazzi Fintech 2025 hosted, alongside its main stage, a dedicated arena for the blockchain ecosystem: Building the Future by Binance TR. On this stage, our Managing Partner Erdem Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu joined the people shaping the future of blockchain and crypto to assess the legal implications of Turkey’s post-regulation period and the macro framework in which the sector is finding its bearings.

The central thesis of the stage was clear: Turkey is not merely a consumer market with high user adoption in digital assets; with the economic opportunity opened by tokenization and Web3 in the post-regulation period, Turkey has a real chance to become a “producer country” in this space.

The speakers on stage

On the Building the Future by Binance TR stage, alongside Mümtaz, were Mücahit Dönmez (General Manager of Binance Turkey), Devrim Danyal (founder of Blockchain AI Academy), Tezcan Turasan (CEO of Parca.io), Kübra Denizci Keskin (rally driver), and Zehra Öney (founder and chairwoman of Wtech).

The next evolution in finance: from fintech to Web3

The macro frame of the stage sat at the threshold where fintech converges with Web3. In a special session between Binance TR General Manager Mücahit Dönmez and Webrazzi Founder and CEO Arda Kutsal, the focus turned to the “store of capital” character of crypto assets, Turkey’s high user adoption, and the economic opportunities that tokenization and Web3 open for the country.

A safe and transparent ecosystem after regulation

With Turkey’s crypto-asset regulation now in force, Mümtaz noted that the new ecosystem of CMB-licensed operators has moved onto a more institutional footing for transparency and user protection; he detailed how the licensing process is shaping director liability, capital adequacy, and the segregation of client assets. He observed that while gray areas have shrunk, the practical questions have largely shifted to secondary regulation.

Turkey’s role on the global stage

Turkey’s potential to be a “producer” — not only a consumer — country in digital assets becomes realistic to the extent that domestic ventures scale internationally on the back of the trust the new framework creates. Stablecoin infrastructure, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and institutional custody services emerged as concrete areas where that productivity can be built.

User safety, KYC and AML

User safety was a recurring theme throughout the stage. The operational burden of KYC and AML is decisive for the sector as it pursues scale while preserving user experience. Mümtaz noted that, alongside secondary regulation, AI-assisted compliance tooling is set to spread, and that the industry must continue to build a shared vocabulary with the regulator.

Web3 technologies and the power of community

In the Web3 era, a community-centric and inclusive understanding of fintech proposes an architecture in which the user is not just a consumer but also a participant in governance. DAOs, token-gated communities and on-chain reputation systems were discussed as the concrete instruments of this inclusivity.
