In December 2016, at the KWORKS Entrepreneurship Research Center, our Managing Partner Erdem Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu and the Startup Hukuku team attended the Keiretsu Forum Turkey panel titled “Process Management in the Angel Investment Journey for Founders.”
The central thesis of the panel was clear: angel investing in Turkey runs on cultural and legal dynamics distinct from Silicon Valley, and the founder’s negotiation strategy needs to be designed around those differences.
