On 16 June 2022, the Yenibirlider Association announced that Muhammed Aşula, a Law and Sociology (double major) student at Koç University, had started the mentorship stage of the LEAD21 Fellowship Program. Vircon Legal co-founder Erdem Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu took part as his Startup Mentor; the programme’s announcement listed him as founder of Clemta.
The mentoring team
- Lead Mentor: Yiğit Çağlayan, CEO of Getir Finans, sharing his view of the business world and his advice.
- Senior Executive Mentor: Elif Çar, CTO of Getir, for in-depth conversations on career and leadership.
- Startup Mentor: Erdem Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu, introducing the fellow to the entrepreneurial mindset.
- Professional Coach: Ayça Aytaç (PCC, education and career consultant), with one-to-one coaching over a six-month stage.
The fellow’s project
In the programme’s Social Leadership Journey module, Muhammed was working on Beraber Barın, a project developing alternatives to the student housing shortage that has come to the fore in many Turkish cities in recent years. His interests include international law and technology law.

Hacıpaşaoğlu’s history with the Yenibirlider Association:
