Vircon Legal founders Erdem Mümtaz Hacıpaşaoğlu and Okan Şencan were guests at the third of the BTM I2B Talks, where each week different guests meet with the entrepreneurs of the BTM Acceleration Camp.
The session addressed the legal processes founders face, emphasising the need for the legal system to keep pace with the times and to respond quickly. Discussion focused mainly on trademarks, patents and intellectual property, and the challenges of protection processes; the team underlined that the most important protection model often comes down to being agile and getting ahead with a strong business model.
Drawing on their own entrepreneurial background, they also stressed the value of a solid financial plan and of obtaining legal support before meeting investors.
